Steve Giannoutsos, DDS

Born and raised in the city of Astoria located in Queens, NY, Dr. Steve Giannoutsos (Dr. Steve) attended NYU College of Dentistry for his DDS and continued his education to become an orthodontist by attending NYU College of Dentistry, Orthodontics. His passion for continuing education did not stop there – he received training at the NYU School of Medicine Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and is currently an orthodontic craniofacial fellow.

Dr. Steve joined Georgetown Orthodontics and Norwalk Orthodontics in 2008. He enjoys working with his colleagues, patients, and parents to help achieve a perfect smile. Dr. Steve believes that orthodontic care is a form of art on the human body that is performed through the teeth. Seeing nervous patients who have been embarrassed by their smile for years finally spread their wings and regain confidence after orthodontic care is the joy that brings him to the office every day!

Outside of the office, Dr. Steve enjoys mixed martial arts and racing cars. He loves to spend time with his wife, Michaele, and three daughters, Yana, Maria, and Sofia.

Marian VanderLinden, DDS

Dr. Marian VanderLinden earned her dental degrees at New York University and is a specialist in orthodontics. After a general practice residency at Jamaica Hospital and a chief resident position, she associated with faculty members in private practice with a concentration in temporomandibular joint disorders and treatment. With interest in how occlusion affects joint disorders and facial pain, Dr. VanderLinden then attended New York University for her post-graduate orthodontic degree. She also completed a two-year Fellowship in Orthognathic Surgical care at Bellevue Hospital and NYU Dental Center where she was also a faculty member for undergraduate and graduate training. 

A native New Yorker, Dr. VanderLinden has a special interest in her patients’ scholastic accomplishments and success and encourages them to enjoy all that New York City can offer.

Hamad Burashed, DMD, MMSc

Dr. Hamad Burashed was born in Kuwait and grew up in Kuwait City and the New York City area before moving to Boston to complete his dental degrees. After practicing as a general dentist, Dr. Hamad pursued his prosthodontics training at Harvard University. At Harvard, Dr. Hamad also earned a master’s degree in medical science. Additionally, he was a research fellow at the Cleft Lip and Palate Program at the prestigious Boston Children’s Hospital. He received his advanced training in orthodontics at St. Barnabas Hospital.

Dr. Hamad is one of the few specialists in the country who is both an orthodontist and a prosthodontist. Dr. Hamad is one of the orthodontists of our practice and is passionate about transforming each of our patients’ smiles. 

Dr. Hamad is a board-certified orthodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, an achievement that is held by a small percentage of all orthodontists.

He has been named a Top Dentist by Boston Magazine in 2020, 2021, and 2022 for his national recognition and dedication to providing the highest quality orthodontic care.
